Harmonising Approaches to Professional Higher Education in Europe

Seminar on PHE – Brussels 2014

EURASHE will organise an EU Validation Seminar on Defining Professional Higher Education (PHE) on 5 February 2014 in Brussels (Belgium).

Defining Professional Higher Education (PHE)

In the first phase of the HAPHE project, we have made an advanced research on the current state of PHE in Europe, through a desk research and a wide survey with more than 600 stakeholders involved. These results are presented in the publication Professional Higher Education in Europe.

Afterwards, an expert team has worked on a definition and a set of characteristics for PHE and has consulted various stakeholders throughout Europe.

This EU Validation Seminar will bring together main stakeholders in the field, and gather their input on the proposed definition and characteristics.
